ART

At Sentro, we believe that cuisine and art share the same language—one of emotion, intuition, and storytelling. This year, we’re proud to partner with Belgian-Italian abstract artist Luca Pertoldi as part of our ongoing collaboration with local talents, now in its fourth edition.

From April 2024 to March 2025, as part of his exhibition Radiant Reflections at Hilton Brussels Grand Place, Luca brings his vibrant and expressive works into the heart of our restaurant and bar. His creations, inspired by the energy of abstract expressionism and the depth of human emotion, complement Sentro’s bold yet refined culinary philosophy.

At the heart of this artistic partnership is The Instinct of Taste, a bespoke piece created by Luca as a tribute to Chef Vincent Masson. The artwork reflects the chef’s balance of mastery and instinct, with a hidden Morse code spelling INSTINCTIVE, and a symbolic color palette—red for passion, white for precision, and gold and silver for excellence. You’ll find this piece proudly displayed at Sentro and featured on the cover of our menu.

Luca’s influence goes beyond the canvas:

  • His favorite dish, the iconic Spaghetti Carbonara, has been added to our menu, reimagined with a local twist using Ménapiens pork guanciale from Dierendonck.
  • His go-to cocktail, the Espresso Martini, now features on our bar menu—bold, balanced, and full of character.
  • And for dessert: the Café Liégeois, a nod to Belgian heritage, originally created in homage to the city of Liège and now a favorite nationwide.

Head Chef Vincent Masson, a Normandy native, has spent his career in France and all over Europe, learning local traditions and techniques along the way.

He calls Sentro an opportunity to share his culinary emotions and to combine his creativity and experience, personally selecting seasonal, local, and high quality ingredients.
